CBD FAQS

What is CBD and where does CBD oil come from?
CBD, known scientifically as cannabidiol, is a safe, non-addictive chemical compound that is directly derived from the hemp plant. Cannabinoids are known to promote health and to keep people resilient to changes in their environment. CBD oil simply refers to an extract of hemp or cannabis that is specially formulates to contain high levels of non-intoxicating CBD along with other plant compounds.

Is CBD legal?
To meet the legal requirements under the 2018 Farm Bill, hemp and hemp products must contain less than 0.3% THC.

How may CBD benefit me?

Many scientific studies show that proper use of CBD may provide promising benefits for a variety of conditions including anxiety, depression, pain, inflammation, sleep pattern disruption, skin care, blood pressure, epilepsy, PTSD, and many others. These studies have not been evaluated by the FDA. Ulli products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Ask a healthcare professional before use.

Is CBD going to make me high?

All of our CBD (cannabidiol) products are made with USA Grown Hemp and contain 100% pure CBD with no THC. With no psychoactive compound found in any of ULLi’s products, they are non-intoxicating and will not produce a “high.” Instead, CBD is thought to work with other elements in the body linked to feelings of well-being.

What is the difference between CBD and THC?

CBD is not to be confused with THC, although hemp and marijuana are derived from the same plant family. THC, or tetrahydrocannabinol, is the main psychoactive compound in cannabis – "marijuana" as it’s commonly known as. Marijuana generally contains a high level of THC while hemp contains a negligible amount of THC but a significant amount of CBD, a non-impairing compound.

How long does it lake for CBD oil take to be effective?

Generally, when taking CBD orally (e.g., oil, powder, capsules, edibles, tinctures), the therapeutic effects should start being experienced anywhere between 1 hour and 6 hours - the time it takes CBD levels in the bloodstream to peak. It can fake longer or shorter depending on the method of consumption and a variety of other factors.

Are there any side effects of CBD?

While CBD is usually considered relatively safe, some users might experience some mild side effects like diarrhea, tiredness, irritability, appetite changes, nausea, and fatigue.
